BMW Umhlanga Founded in July 2003 by Sean McCarthy, the SMG Group has grown significantly from its original 2 dealerships, SMG Durban and SMG Pietermaritzburg, to now comprise of 10 dealerships, including seven BMW dealerships and one MINI dealership. These include our Approved Repair Centre in Marseilles Drive, Briardene, and Mount Edgecombe,and our state-of-the-art SMG Cape Town,situated at the entrance of the Canal Walk Shopping Centre, which opened in Febuary 2009. SMG South Coast commenced trading in July 2011, and SMG Rocks, KZN’s first exclusive MINI dealership, opened in December 2012. Our newest member of the team, SMG Umhlanga, was launched in September 2015.

We have also won the Best Neighbourhood Restaurant, Best New Restaurant and Romantic Restaurant titles in 2015, 2016 and in 2018, respectively.
